Last weekend we went to DC to hang out with Megan and her husband Matt. It was one of the best weekends in a long time- probably because the boys allowed Megan and I to shop for as long as wanted! We woke up Saturday and went straight to Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack which is a big deal to me since I haven't been in months! We found some great bargains! 
We may have offended some people near us with this picture of Meg pretending to shoot the president... haha awkward!
Then we went to lunch and headed to DC. We were able to tour Ford's Theater. It was so interesting reading facts about all the consipirators and Abraham Lincoln. I usually tuned out in history class so lots of the little facts were new to me! It was a very surreal feeling to be able to sit in the theater where the president was actually shot. We were also able to go on a tour of the house he was carried to and later died in. This of course made us excited to rent the movie "The Conspirators" which is a great movie if you have not seen it yet!! After Ford's Theater we found an H & M and an Anthropologie so again Megan and I were in heaven.

Finally we went to a delicious dinner where they prepared fresh pasta right in front of you any way you like. It was AMAZING!! Definitely my new favorite restaurant! And one of the best parts is when you are leaving they have a bowl of gummy bears you can take a spoonful of! After dinner we went home and played games and Megan made me a delicious birthday cake. The weekend went way too fast I wish we could have stayed longer!!
